Jean Todt

Jean Todt was born on 25 February 1946 in Pierrefort Cantal (France).

Todt joined Ferrari in 1993 as Team Principal of Ferrari Gestione Sportiva. He had just achieved back-to-back victories at the Le Mans 24 Hour race in 1992 and 1993 with Peugeot, for whom he had headed the competition department.

This former rally co-driver joined Ferrari to lead the team back to the top level of Formula One and has since amassed an accomplished career. By 2001, with Ferrari in true World Championship form, he was nominated General Director of Gestione Sportiva, assuming responsibility of all the sporting activity of the Ferrari Maserati Group. He was then appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ferrari S.p.A in the autumn of 2006 and, assuming an interim role of Managing Director of the Gestione Sportiva - continues to be a regular face on the Grand Prix circuit.
